Misheard Lyrics Stories:

"The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys"
Misheard Lyrics:
The sound that you're hearing is only the sound of the Luftwaffe's high heeled boys.
Original Lyrics:
The sound that you're hearing is only the sound of the low spark of high heeled boys.

Story about this misheard lyric by: TJ

I grew up with seven older siblings, so I was exposed to some incredible music from an early age. When I was around 8 I heard the song a few times and I thought it was about German soldiers a la Hogan's Heroes. I think that once I thought they were saying Luftwaffe, and then heard the line about 'Today you just read that the man was shot dead by a gun that didn't make any noise" it made some kind of strange sense to me.
