This got censored in a live performance in 1996 on UK TV show "Top of the Pops" due to the references to drugs in the song.
Neil
"Why?," Jadakiss
The political hip-hop song was banned or censored in some radio stations for its lyrical content alleging then-President George W. Bush's complicity in the September 11, 2001 attacks: "Why do ni**as push pounds of powder?/Why did Bush knock down the towers?" Conservative pundit Bill O'Reilly accused Jadakiss of being a "smear pusher" in response to the song.

"Gay Bar," Electric Six
Released in 2003, the lyric "Let's start a war/Start a nuclear war" would be censored due to the War on Terror, either by muting out parts of the said lyric or redoing it with "Let's do an edit/Do a radio edit".
Archie
"Do What U Want," Lady Gaga ft. R. Kelly
Banned from streaming sites, probably because of the lyrics: “Do what you want, what you want with my body.”

"New York City Cops," The Strokes
The song was pulled from the US CD release of their debut album following the 9/11 attack. However, it was still released in other markets, as well as the US vinyl pressing.
Jay
"Arnold Layne," Pink Floyd
Banned by pirate radio station; Radio London in 1967 just because of the song's subject (a true story) about a man who stole ladies undergarments from washing lines.
James D
"Hold My Hand," Don Cornell
This UK #1 single from 1954 was banned by the BBC just for mentioning "the kingdom of Heaven" in the lyrics.

"All of their songs," Kunts
Kunts; also known as Kunt and the Gang are a British comedy punk act that have released singles with very explicit lyrical content and titles; such as Boris Johnson is a F---ing C--t; and F--k the Tories; a song which made the UK top ten last Xmas.

"F*** You," CeeLo Green
I don’t even like playing this song. So it must be banned from my playlist (if I ever even HAD one). There is a clean version of this song titled “Forget You”. But it’s still a bit mean.

"Payphone," Maroon 5 featuring Wiz Khalifa
In the clean version of the song, the words "s***" and "f***ing" are replaced with "it" and "stupid" respectively.
Isac
"Green Green Grass," George Ezra
At the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in June 2022, Ezra had to omit the words "on the day that I die" from the chorus.

"Angel's Delight," Fatima Mansions
One of the most offensive songs on their album. The lyrics include advocating cop killings and the line "burn, Mother*****, burn". I don't even know if it ever got play time on the radio.
Rock Maninoff
"Goodbye," Mimi Webb
While the official lyrics state "...God knows this part isn't fun", sometimes when she performs it live she changes it to "...God knows this s#!t isn't fun". Think the official line was to make it radio friendly.

"Their music," Deicide
Due to their songs' overtly Satanic messages and inflammatory remarks against Christianity, the band was barred from performing on certain venues and their music was of course banned for that matter. Unlike most metal bands whose use of dark imagery is largely confined as a gimmick to sell records (Tom Araya of Slayer is a devout Catholic and the Black Sabbath members wanted nothing to do with actual Satanism despite the devil being their recurring subject matter), Deicide are indeed committed Satanists.

"Too Much Blood," Rolling Stones
The song and video are a parody of horror movies but the lyrics describing an actual event where this Japanese man living in Paris decapitates, cuts up and cannibalizes his GF, and an enacted scene where Mick has a mannequin doll (and other things) in his fridge as well as the hallucinations of this woman who is watching all this on her TV. She then 'sees' blood in virtually everything, even when she unplugs the TV set (bleeding socket!) and then she tries to smash the set on the wall. No use, so she hurls it out the window and the CRT explodes, with a ghost image of the screaming Mick Jagger hovering outside. Needless to say, this song and video airplay were very restricted on radio and MTV.

"Undercover of the Night," Rolling Stones
This song's video was banned by the BBC and restricted in airplay by MTV due to the extreme violent content. The setting is in the Salvadorian Civil War and the lyrics reflect it too.

"Death On Two Legs," Queen
The song is a vitriolic kiss-off to their first manager, who stole their money. The band had to go to court to get out of their contract with him. They won. On the 1979 live album 'Live Killers!' Freddie Mercury introduces this song by stating that it's 'dedicated to one real m*********** of a gentleman'. Yet on the album ITSELF the word 'm***********' is bleeped out, totally. In 1979 that word wasn't very kosher and it has never been restored on the album. Yet the lyrics do refer to 'kiss my ASS goodbye' or something like that. 'Ass' isn't bleeped out.
1979 Rock'n'Roller Who Destroys Walls
"All of his songs," Morgan Wallen
Similar to Marilyn Manson the exact same week, Morgan Wallen had his music removed from various country radio stations in the United States and elsewhere after a video surfaced of him saying a racial slur (notably the N-word). Unlike Marilyn Manson though, this didn't affect his chart performance, as Wallen's music experienced a surge in commercial success.
POWERStarz2004
"All of their songs," Lostprophets
Following sexual abuse allegations against lead singer Ian Watkins, which he eventually pled guilty to and is currently serving a 35-year prison sentence and labelled as a sex offender. The rest of the band decided to split and form a new band called No Devotion, disowning their old name. Good luck trying to find a radio station that still plays their (LP, not No Devotion) music in this day and age!
