Here it is...the first parody ever about Jay Carney, new Presidential Press Secretary. Although not a "household name", Mr. Carney was a correspondent for Time Magazine and C.N.N. before becoming chief spokesman for Vice-President Joe Biden (no easy job there!). The original song by Connie Vannett is from the soundtrack of the John Waters film "A Dirty Shame". It's a most suggestive OS (when heard in the right frame of mind, it's downright dirty!) If you don't know it, check it out on Youtube. Not that Carney is a reprobate..it's the FORM that's irresistible. And, if you think about it, Obama has just replaced a huckster with a "Carney"! ;D

I remember finding the original 45 rpm at a store selling off old juke box records. The fellows in the record club got quite a laugh from it. This situation reminds of an old episode of the Beverly Hillbillies. The Drysdale's son asked for his musical instrument "Fetch my lyre". Jethro overheard him and thought "Wow, this fellow is so rich he pays someone else to do his lying for him".
