The Lyrics
"Serial Bomber, Part 3" is a March 4th, 2011 song on Every Ape and His Brother's album The Chicken of the Opera. It is a lyrical parody of "Grenade" by Bruno Mars. The serial bomber from the first two songs is now dead. But—horror of horrors!—his legacy lives on! It turns out that he had an apprentice; and now it is the apprentice's turn to wreak havoc! One girl, after running around on her husband, decided to run away with her new lover. To secure her escape, she poisoned and killed her husband. But little did the vile black widow realize that the Serial Bomber's apprentice was watching! Soon, she finds herself targeted by a relentless stalker with an ungodly arsenal—aimed directly at her! This song is the third and final chapter to the Serial Bomber song trilogy. Disclaimer: I do not endorse anyone who actually behaves the way the character in this song does. The humor is in picturing what would happen if the original artist performed his song with these lyrics. This song should never be construed as approval of the actions it contains regarding vigilantism, psycho-stalking, nor detonation of explosives.
