Not bad, not great either... Seems like the song had you stumped OR you had no time to write this week but wanted to have SOMETHING for OWN which I appreciate but YOU'RE freaking CLAUDE PREZ man! I love your work and I was expecting to be in tears here but what I got was a tune that was actually kind of depressing (which is ODD because the original song is so quirky and fun). Hope everything is okay man. I know I'm here for you if you need anything man.

Matthias, normally I'd agree with you, but in this case I don't think I can. See, the reason you don't feed trolls is that they just want to get a reaction, and if you ignore them they get bored and go somewhere else. How long has this particular POS been doing this? Five years? Longer? If ignoring worked he would have left a long time ago. My belief is he wants the same thing everyone else here does -- for his creative efforts to be noticed and appreciated. When it doesn't happen to his satisfaction, he acts out, anonymously fabricating praise for himself (and anyone else he considers a friend) and jealously attacking anyone who threatens him by getting the sort of attention he thinks he deserves.
So yeah, if I thought ignoring him would be helpful, I'd do that. But he's not going anywhere and neither am I. So I think of him as sort of a crappy mascot. If you pay attention to his patterns, you can make him do tricks, it's kinda like having a pet monkey. A really annoying pet monkey you'd like to shove down the garbage disposal but you can't. Hope I'm making myself clear to everyone on this matter, and I hope you'll bear with me here, it's actually kinda fun for me.

I totally understand the meaning of the parody, and as one who's written several parodies not intended to be gut-wrenching funny, I understand the need to occasionally write for a cause.
The toddler lines carried a bit of extra humor for me as my two year old has had quite a morning! And...I've been there :)
