OK, someone gave me a 5 for pacing, and 1's everywhere else! Does that make any sense?
I vote 5-5-5 for this wonderfully goofy parody. Laurence, my own theory is that when you see a vote of 5-1-1, that's a vote coming from a regular reader/writer on Amiright, who want to reward good pacing when they see it, hence the 5, but who for one reason or another don't think the parody is funny or in good taste or whatever, hence the 1-1 on "How Funny" and "Overall". People who vote that way are afraid to leave their names in a comment because they are afraid you will take revenge on their own parodies.
Then you have the people who vote 1-1-1 even if the pacing is good. People vote like that because they enjoy punishing the parody writer out of spite, or because the parody offends the reader's sensibilities, or else the vote is just a random and meaningless act of mental masturbation by the voter.

One time I totally yelled at someone who gave me 111 because they thought that HP & the POA was so good, and I had criticized it. I said, "If you didn't think it was funny, or good overall, that's fine...but that doesn't mean my pacing was off." I didn't really think that it would sink in...and I'm not saying that it was the same person...but ever since I said that...I HAVE noticed a LOT of 5-1-1's....
I have no comment about this, except that the original is from the seventies not the sixties. Abba did not have any music then.
Oops. I know it was from the 70's I must have made a bad selection in thte drop-down box....

JD: I have seen lots of triple-one votes, and I hate that. IMO, if people vote 1 for pacing on a perfectly-paced parody, then that's an insincere vote. What I'm trying to say over here is: A vote is a terrible thing to waste. By the way, I already voted 5 for pacing, but a 4 for how funny.
Another 5-1-1 vote here: pacing and rhyme are faithful to the original, but graphic toilet humor is not my thing.
