The Lyrics
During a couple of visits to a chiropractic doctor, I had the "privilege" of resting on top of a table that had something that felt like rollers moving up and down my spine. Some felt okay and some felt downright awful but if it helps, I'm okay with it. This song and parody came to mind during one of these sessions. There is also a nod to the original table that you lie down on where the doctor does the "manipulations" or other bone-cracking maneuvers!
Once I saw a chi-ro-prac-tic doc/hopin’ he could cure my ills,
To the office I did take a walk/trustin’ in the doctor’s skill.
I checked in and then did take a stop/wondering where I’d go
To my surprise I saw a table top/what would happen I didn’t know!
