John: Maybe a interior designer with a kayaking hobby could use that in a parody! I did consider "orphan" but ended up canning it.

DKTOS, but the title made me had to look. As far as I know, there are four words that have no rhyme: orange (duh), silver, purple and month.
Maybe you'll have to settle for a bowl of porringe...

Oranges...\o/. I had a somewhat rhyme, but it really didn't fit. Something like "orangya (aren't you).. You'll have people wracking their brains on this one a while.

bobpiecheese: There are about fourteen single-syllable words in English that have no perfect rhymes, I can't remember them all but "angst" and "ninth" are two of them.
Phil, I had to look that one up. Archaic and obscure, but apparently there are about 15 rhymes with orange, most were proper or made-up names falling into the archaic and obscure category as well.
Stu: Lol on the continued line, which would make an interesting "Rudolph, The Red-Nosed Reindeer" parody if you wanted to. Good to see you back.
Pat: "Aren't you" is close but a broken rhyme. Most of what I listed in quotes were either broken or half-rhymes.

Came across this in the ABC Semi-Finals, very, very clever! I liked this a lot.
Before I get off for a good while, great parody. Although, bobpiecheese, you can rhyme with "month" - just not a real word. Have a small child, who just automatically thinks "th" goes after each number, say "oneth" instead of first. That's how little kids do somethimes, overgeneralizing a rule they think they've picked up. (Like putting "-ed" after every past tense verse - so runned, flied, etc.).
Sadly, nothing like this can be done with orange.

Ha! That darn orange, frustrating poets for centuries! Very clever collection of near-rhymes; I think "horse syringe" is my favorite. Great take on one of my favorite songs!
