Some guy actually did strap a lawn chair to balloons, I think it was, and took off. Violated LAX airspace, fell into the Pacific (survived). It's the testosterone, I think... makes you brave and stupid.

Actually, Tommy, the lawn-chair-on-a-sled thing was taken from this guy who sits in front of me in French class who told me that he really did that, though he didn't harm himself as much as my parody's protagonist. He heavily inspired this work.
Just had a few moments today in between Tax Questions here, Cat...I somehow ended up on this piece. Nice job...Whew! Sure glad I'm not doing any of this stuff...I don't think I ever did, but that was about 40 years ago, so I'm not entirely certain about that...lol...OH...yeah...YOUR piece...yeah...5's ~ ~ ~

Ahhhh.... A trip down memory lane with Hobbes behind me as we go speeding down a hill with a rocket attached to the back.
Only prob is, these days the girls are acting the same way: binge drinking, going out in the freezing cold in summer clothes, getting body piercings, trying to prove how tough they are. And how mean they can be to people who don't fit in, just like the male bullies used to do. This is where 40 years of feminsim has gotten your country! As for the parody, well-done. I'll vouch for you, I could write a pretty good spoof when I was still in high school, and a few of my older works have shown up here. So I do not join the chorus of those who say you're too young to have that talent. -- MM
