Me and some friends are working on a cd of parodies revolving around my school (www.hmc.edu, for the curious), and this will probably be on it... Jonathon and Prof Townsend, if for some reason you happen to see this: I only used your names because I couldn't think of original ones, and yours happened to fit the syllabic structure perfectly. I'm not trying to insult either of you.

Excellent ! Your parody brings back memories to this ol' M.I.T. dropout. I clearly remember going to my calculus class after probably staying up way too late the night before doing who knows what, and I felt a bit drowsy. So I smugly thought, "Ha! A couple of No-Doz oughta do the trick! " So I pounded down 200 mg of pure caffeine, sat down, and promptly fell asleep!

Nem, if you can land a copy of "The Beatles Anthology" 2, there is a recording of just the strings from "Eleanor Rigby". You can experiment with adding this parody and your vocal to it. Put it on Soundclick, so I get an idea of how you sing.

I remember having a biology lecturer who could send a hyperactive caffeine addict to sleep: one lecture I sat at the back thinking I'd be able to catch a nap undetected... but the head of department came and sat next to me. About half way through the lecture, I noticed that he'd nodded off :-) Enjoyed the parody, neminem.
