I'm surprised there has not been a petition to secede from the US by California. It could make a much better Canadian province. Oh, this OS does remind me that Woodstock is 1 month away.

One reason Cali wouldnt secede is because they know the interior of the state would instantly secede from it, along with the eastern parts of Oregon and Washington
I used to think that California would be better off seceding. Now they have nobody to blame but themselves.
The Golden State has problems, no doubt. But compared to Florida, for example (the most f*cked-up state in the country), medieval sh!tholes like Texas, Alabama, Georgie, Missouri, etc., CA is looking pretty good.

The only thing turning Texas into a "sh!thole" is all the Californians moving here.
Missouri has beautiful scenery and great gun laws. Weather is crap, but so is Kansas. California relatives won't move here because of winter.
