Way off in North Carolina
In a town called Greensboro
Lived a man so fond of ranting
On the websites where he’d go
And one porn site held a treasure
Trove of his disturbing posts
Then he ran for office, and
His comments haunted him like ghosts

Go ahead and claim they faked it
Go ahead and blame Josh Stein
Say it’s just a high-tech lynching
Keep repeating it: “those words aren’t mine!”
You won’t get any fanfare on Inauguration Day
They’ll be swearing Josh Stein in, while
minisoldr posts away

So he called himself a pervert
And a Nazi, this is true
Wishing they would bring back slavery
Then he’d buy some people too
It’s not common to find someone
Who goes on that crazy tack
And that’s doubly true because he
Just so happens to be Black

Now the voters all got creeped out
Though some said that they’d still vote
For the man called “minisoldr”
(Or Mark Robinson—take note)
But his polling is abysmal
Donald Trump, his former friend
Now acts like Mark is a stranger
What a sad, ignoble end
