I don't get it, but 555's anyway for the imagery and making me think. In my mind, "Taste a rainbow" evokes commercials for Skittles candies. Can you explain this song (if there is an explanation)? Why did you start with the chorus instead of the verse?
I don't really think this is in good taste, but good pacing.
The rainbow is a symbol of solidarity for the GLBT community.
Agrimorfee: The original song starts with the chorus, at least the version I have on "Satanic Majesties Request" does anyway. I guess I probably should have explained more. This song is partially based on a lady i used to work with who had rainbows all over her car and on her motorcycle helmit and tons of other things. But she harshly denied being lesbian/bi-sexual, even though she had been seen with other women in a more than friendly way, and she lived with her partner, and they had adopted a child together. After a year or so, she came out, and everyone went on with their lives.

Nope, just have the normal plain ol' cover. I love that album, it's definitely diff than the run-of-the-mill great Stones stuff, but its definitely worth the 10 bucks or whatever you pay for a damn CD now. Honestly, Im suprised even this many people knew "She's A Rainbow". Very cool.
It's one of my all time fave Stones tracks! This one's pretty damn good too!
For a second there, I too was reminded of Skittles, which I believe "come in colors", to quote the original. Maybe you, the Stones and the Skittles people could work out a commercial. I think that the original has just about the best piano work I've ever heard in a rock and roll song.
I took piano lessons from K-6th grade, then dropped it when I got to JR. High. I wish I wouldn't have now, so I could play piano parts like this one. Im gradually picking up my skills again on my own. I can play the melody, but when it comes to the solo part...hah. Forget it. It sounds like a moose walking on the keyboard. BTW, thanks everyone.

great parod. BTW Satanic Majesties' Request was done to counter the Beatles Sgt. Pepper album...which it why it was so odd sounding for the stones
Fantantic timing, terrific tune.
By timing I meant pacing, by the way. Not the timing of the release of the song or anything, as I believe it is in somewhat poor taste. Perfect marks anyway.
