I was about to say, "I wonder what Merry and Pippin" feel about this parody when I saw Peregrin's comment. Well.... This certainly recollected their parody in my mind, although you had different ideas with the song than they did.
I actually had a parody in mind last year of the same song with the same title, but didn't pursue it. Gonna abandon that idea now, as this parody far surpasses any attempt that I made on it. Good job 555

(SOTM) I've yet to do a DIY thing, though I have this hunch I'd be good at it, as I'm good at following step-by-step instructions (Transformers help with that). Nice little tale you got going here. Me likey.
"They just love to make a riddle of assembling a chair": no kidding. I spent 30 minutes tonight on a light fixture just to change the bulb. A chair might take me days. I liked these lyrics better than the original's. Tossing the chair into a lake made for some great visuals.

(SOTM) I will say this one had some grammar sacrifices for pacing as well, but they were a bit subtle. It was a cute parody, and reminds me of Merry & Pippin's parody of ironically the same song. . .

I've never understood how people have problems with folding deckchairs, but I have watched those who have (with some amusement... a bit like reading this song)
