I'll give you a rating of 5.55 for this, Melanie. Didn't know you were such a sports fan, especially of the NY sports scene. I did a trifecta of parodies about Jeremy Lin back in February of 2012, when he suddenly burst onto the scene -- "Joy To New York", "Lin-a Garden-Da-Vida", and "Jeremy" (based on the Pearl Jam song of the same name) ......... I thought these were some of my best works. So if you are a fan of of the NY sorts scene, you'd probably enjoy them
Way to go, Lennie! This is a great song to celebrate the Donkeys' fifth, that's right, fifth Super Bowl loss, and your lyrics hit like a Seahawk linebacker.

^ agree with the Jonathan above the lyrics set to the bass riff was a clever idea as for the Super Bowl itself I couldn't have asked for a better one! you know what they say about Karma well it seems that it hit Frankenstein... I mean Manning and the Broncs pretty hard! 5's
There's a joke going on that you can't upload the video of the game into a porn site because they don't allow rape. What a rape it was but it's also a snuff film with Sherman and co. butchering Peyton alive. The funny and a sad thing is that he still trails his little brother by one SB ring. With that said, while the Broncos may have the most SB loss, their track record are still much better than that of the Bills and the Vikings as those two teams has a combined record of 0 for 8.
There's gotta be a parody in that opening whoops by Peyton. I can't write it tonight, I just did half a novel on my blog in memory of Ralph Kiner. I'll bet a few Bronco fans wish they could trade places with him this week.
Thanks for all your comments! A few days ago, someone said in an interview that the Seahawks had analyzed the Broncos' game down to Peyton Manning's calls, so the 'Hawks could anticipate and intercept. So maybe it's not so much that the Broncos played badly as that the Seahawks played brilliantly. Go know.
And now the name of a certain race horse comes to mind: Seattle Slew.
Melanie when you mentioned half time you could have added the rain that fell. If you've been to Seattle you ought to know the Seahawks were in their element. Their stars were lined up and nothing could have stopped them. I remember when the Japanese women beat the American women in the World Cup Soccer back in 2011. After the tsunami, earthquake and Fukishima nuclear plant disaster four months earlier the Japanese badly needed something, anything to lift their spirits again. The American ladies were a formidable team but no matter how well they played, same as the Broncos, fate had it that they were not going to win. The Japanese women had their stars lined up because the gods were merciful unto them.
Or because they played better that day? Face it, defense m=for the most part wins against the top offense.
Great parody. I am a Seahawks fan, so I thoroughly enjoyed the game. Too bad I couldn't be there to see it live. LOB. GO HAWKS!
samthepoet: Hey--come to think of it, I have been to Seattle, in the Summer of 2000. I'd gone to an arts conference sponsored by Mars Hill Review. I don't remember rain, but I do remember those very steep hills! I also remember sunsets at 10pm.
