The Lyrics
So Honest Trailers chose a rather interesting subject for a trailer this week, and by the end, it had me thinking "Meet the new boob tube, so very much like the old boob tube." Flat screens have replaced the old CRTs, but if anything, there's more raw sewage spewing forth from the TV than ever before now that it's on the internet.
I don't know why you think I should be there on Facebook,
When that whole place runs on censorship and lies;
And I don't see compassion in hate rants by wokescolds
Hoping every single one of "my kind" dies...
But those bull covered glasses
You've worn since your youth
Fill you with delusions;
Keep you blind to the truth.
Still, you trust what you see on your streaming service
Although it's run by your worst enemies;
And you trust in the words of elitists, defeatists
As they push their long-failed ideologies...
Those bull covered glasses
Won't let you see through
Fake news pushed by fruitcakes;
Old-time lies, flogged as new.
Though you just keep on hoping, believing
That wishing hard enough will somehow make things so,
Truth is beauty even when it's ugly;
Those bull covered glasses were forged by your foe.

Stop your eyes from viewing;
From your mind, purge the truth.

Prediction: eventually, the "glasses" through which you view this crap will literally be glasses; probably something like goggles with little tiny screens pressed almost right up against your eyeballs. Later, even those will go obsolete, and new technology will implant the screens in your retinas to feed the bull straight into your optic nerve; as if reality outside the media weren't already difficult enough to see!
