I felt compelled to write this parody about Kodak. I live in Rochester, NY which is the world headquarters for Kodak. At one point it employed 60,000 people here in Rochester. Now they employ just over 5000 and have recently filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy.
When I think back on all the years I worked at Kodak
Now I wonder where my job has gone.
And with their lack of management coordination
We could see the writing on the wall.
Kodak's GOOOOOOONNNNEEE!
They gave us our severence paychecks
And then just a bunch of pink slips
Managements thrown our Kodak jobs away, oh yeah
I got a fake gold wristwatch
I watch my benefits decline
So, Kodak don't take my 401k
If you took all executives who work for kodak

I know I'd hand them all their job eliminations

The last roll of Kodachrome film was developed at a shop in Kansas last year. Sad to see a once thriving industry bite the dust. Everything depends on computers now. I haven't figured out digital cameras yet. Probably never will.
