Well, here goes. I want to thank everybody for their kind words when I left here to get my head on straight. Your sentiments were greatly appreciated. I hope I can still make y'all giggle, but after 10 months vacation from writing, who knows? This one is dedicated to all who'll wake up New Years morning without much recollection from the night before.

Thanks BAD, Red Ant, and adagio. Feels good to be back. I just had an idea for this song a couple of weeks ago, and decided to see if it would work on paper. Glad you all liked it. I used to hate going out drinking, and remembering zilch about what went on during the last 12 hours or so. You hate to ask your buddies about what went on because they'll just sit back, laugh and totally mess with your head. They'll say things like, "Dude, you totally tried to french kiss your Mom" or, "Umm....You know that girl you went home with last night was really a dude, right?" It's always funny when it's not you suffering the blackout. Thanks again for the great welcome back.

SOTM - I am so much not a fan of country that I don't even know this OS, but I recall it was freakin huge. But I think we all know someone like this. A funny read.

(SOTM Dec 2007) - Been there, done that and threw up on the tee shirt. One thing I've learned over the years is that alcohol and gravity do not mix as well as alcohol and cats - Impaired judgement can nearly be lethal when dealing with cats. Nice go at the SOTM.

(SOTM) I've never been wasted, but wow what a way to come back to the contests, too bad it's such a tight month. Your pacing was good--not perfect--but it could work because Garth leaves enough leeway to pull it off, the lyrics were very well thought out, and your rhyme scheme was top notch, not to mention you got a laugh with the first three lines--that's not easy to do.
