The Lyrics
In the 1990s, Alice in Chains hit it big as grunge exploded in popularity. Their lead vocalist, Layne Staley, often took to drugs, like heroin, to deal with being famous. It ultimately killed him in 2002. Ironically, the song being parodied here is a glam metal song. Grunge had supplanted glam metal's popularity.

It just hit me that this is the first L.A. Guns parody on this site. I had no idea the band had never been parodied on here before.
