I guess that it probably takes a hardcore Star Trek fan to really recognise and apprechiate the inside jokes and references in this song. So yes, itīs meant for them/us, primarily. Also, itīs meant to be built like one of those classic sf-short novels with a twist towards the end. Or in this case, in the third verse. (Thanx to Emma Saunders over at Sev Space for proofreading).
