Good and descriptive parody of a frustrating situation
Thankfully I've never been there. I'm late for a lot of things but never for an airplane because that would really suck. Hopefully this one wasn't inspired by true events.

(AofA) I'm so paranoid about being late to things that I always arrive super early. If I'm not early, chances are that I probably won't show up at all. Probably because I forgot about it. That's just me though. Awesome parody!

AGES...haha...missing my flight is a major fear of mine, so I make sure to get to the airport WAY in advance. Most of the time the gate agents think I'm kind of a loon...but better safe than sorry! :)
(Ages) I think the only thing more irritating than missed a flight is getting the flight but your luggage missed it. It certainly gave some of my fave comedians some great material. Anyway, great parody here, Christie, even if I've never missed a flight myself (buses, on the other hand...) 555!

Arwen - Yes, it's a lot better to be safe than sorry, especially when trying to catch your flight, and same with waiting for buses at bus stations. Funny you should mention, I got off in the middle of Newark NJ at the light rail train and had to be transferred to a bus taking me to the Penn Station, which made me 15 minutes late for work, so I have to plan that in advance as well. I wouldn't care if anybody thought I was a loon, as long as I get on time. Great concept.
bobpie/T-COP - A missing luggage is the worst. We flew to California 3 years ago and 2 of our luggages were missing and ended up in Canada! Aaargh! Those were our only clothes and because of that, we had to borrow some of our relative's clothes. And speaking of buses, I got on the wrong bus one time when I was in college. Had to walk all the way to college, making me late for my classes. It's also nice to see it gave some of your fave comedians great material, whoever they are. Glad you enjoyed.

Thanks lots, D-Mon! :)...Yes, been missing buses and missed a flight only one time and believe me, and boy, DOES IT SUCK! As I told bobpie, another worse thing on missing flights are missing bags after the flight and ending up in the wrong location, like our luggage accidentally ended up in Canada while me and the fam flew to California for my niece's wedding.
