So....yeah. 2020 has been...yeah. And the one thing that made it more "...yeah" than anything else was COVID-19. The GOOD news is that the vaccine is coming. The BAD news is that plebes like me and you may not get it until spring at the earliest. Oh, what a wonderful Christmastime it would be if we got the shot by the holiday. Ah, well, here's to dreams. Remember the time not many years ago when a flu vaccine was rushed and later it turned out that some kind of cronic narcolepsy was an unforseen side effect? More than 500 kids in my country alone have still not been cured from that.
Anyway, that said, the group that should go first are of course not doctors and nurses (they should come second), the group that needs to go first, publicly, are each and every one of our politicians and their families. Unless they are willing to put their own skin in the game on camera, each and every one of them, neither should anyone else.
