Well done, Kristoff. Good job of varying the chorus. I have a great grandmother who emigrated from Llanidloes, Wales to the United States, and I thought that "Llanidloes" was hard to pronounce.
Pacing is off in two lines (the "58 letters" and "name translates" ones). Still, your rhymes/varied choruses were clever and the remarks about local reactions were cute. 4-5-5...
Okay...hi...I just have to say that I am a pacing FANATIC. It is more important to me than any other part of the parody. I, personally, will not submit a parody unless I have sung it 75 times and I feel that the pacing is perfect.
But on the little voting deal...it doesn't say that 5=Perfect. It says that 5=Lots. So give the Saucy Aussie a break, why don't you?

Yes, that is a real name, in Wales. The name is Cymric. On the other hand, there is a place in Salla, Finland, named "Äteritsiputeritsipuolilauatsijänkkä". The roadside bar there, is, of course, named "Äteritsiputeritsipuolilauatsibaari". Those are the longest location and restaurant names in Finland. Curação is, after all, a piece of cake to pronounce. Triple Nickel.

Ingeborg...I have to disagree with you on pacing; each line of the verses in the original has 14 evenly paced syllables, as does my version..the "58 letters" line requires you to stress the final syllable in "letters"; but otherwise it fits perfectly..Arwen, thanks for fighting my corner babe! This one was just hilarious! Great job! I agree, how does anyone pronounce any of those names?? Who ever thought up that language and their dictionary, I'll never figure it out? I love Wales but come-on in can take forever to write an address! (lol)
I have a rough idea of how to pronounce Welsh, since I considered studying it. It never got off the ground, though, so I put it aside for Gaelic. I really can't help wondering what it means! The Celtic languages can be difficult, but they're beautiful!

I've just noticed.. you've left a "w" out - "drobllll" should be "drobwllll" (the "w" is a vowel sound and without it you're a syllable short) ;-)
