The Lyrics
I first got riled up about "The Reppies" when I saw the episode about a healthy lifestyle on The Chuch Channel. I didn't know this award-winning, Christian, kids' TV show aired on PBS, but I heard they were swell!!! (Note: This show was from Northstar Entertainment.)
(short instrumental intro)
A jolly laughter roamed where kids have been,
And in that gym a band I've never seen,
If I had seen those five, I might have said,
"If I were in that gym, The Reppies played..."
As kiddies danced their way around the floor,
I never saw that Christian show before,
I heard TCC's crew suggest I've stayed,
And as I boogied down, The Reppies played.

A half-reptilian quintet is one I saw,
I've never seen this great show before,
As they delighted me, I became so cock-eyed,
I entered onstage, and they hugged me by my sides.
I spoke to them the things I must have said,
Refused to let the fun depart my head,
Now I was made to see this great display,
And as they rocked and rolled, The Reppies played.
