About chyrons: they are the lettered graphics that identify a person being interviewed on a news story or the location of the story. I heard long ago from an employee of the local NBC affiliate at a job fair that you need a master's degree to operate a chyron machine.
It was all right for a while
The news was clear for a while
But at eleven tonight
The names just didn't seem right
Then it showed The Pres "Gorge Birch"
The anchors thought it went well
But I went through Hell
When I saw chyrons on the tube
Chyrons on the tube
And it said "Afghanistone"
on a blank screen all alone, with misspelled chyrons, chyrons, chyrons,chyrons
It's hard to understand
The cryptic minds of these hams who show the chyrons
They said to be with Channel 3, I need a master's degree
But dropouts messed up the news, must have drunk some booze
They were buttheads, but what could I do?
For if up to me
I'd ban them from T.V.
