Long before I met and knew Tommy Turtle I was a fan of a loveable quartet of cartoon heroes called The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This show was almost another Rocky and Bullwinkle - full of clever puns and inside jokes that only a sophisticated adult would get. As for the OS, it's one of my mom and dad's favorite songs and the theme song of my band since 1995. ;D

It's my fav'rite cartoon show.
They can kill off any foe.
They're Teenage Mutant Turtles.

Michaelangelo is swell -
Leonardo does quite well.
They're heroes on the half shell.
