A lot of rap music features the singer openly boasting. I'm looking for examples of boasts that are unrealistic.

Manowar's, "Metal Warriors"
The Boasting Lyrics:
Now the world must listen to our decree,
We don't turn down for anyone,
We do just what we please.
Got to make it louder,
All men play on ten.
Comments:
Boasting about how they're the loudest band and won't turn down (like their other song "Kings of Metal").

Sabaton's, "Carolus Rex [Swedish]"
The Boasting Lyrics:
[Rough translation] A new time is approaching, this time is coming to an end.
All of Stockholm see me crowned,
Cannons fire salute.
No oath taken, no oath I swear.
The crown does not come from the church,
It came directly from God.
Over the Nordics I rule
With the inheritance that I was given...
The art of war I master,
Let my name spread terror...
Everything I see, want more, who could stop me?
The whole of Europe shall bow for my army
What is yours shall be mine when I slay you
My will be done!
Comments:
Both versions have the king saying you can't question him because he was chosen by the Lord. The Swedish version is similar to the English, but this one has the king boasting about his coronation and how Europe will fear him. He is also experienced in war.

Sabaton's, "We Burn"
The Boasting Lyrics:
Genocide?
Who will drag me to court?
There's no crime if you do not get caught
I am the law
Comments:
The officers are boasting how they won't get caught killing people in the genocide in Bosnia.

Sabaton's, "Carolus Rex"
The Boasting Lyrics:
All embrace me It’s my time to rule at last Fifteen years have I been waiting To sit upon my throne No allegiance I will swear no oath Crowned by God, not by the church As my power is divine (...) I was chosen by heaven Say my name when you pray To the skies See Carolus rise With the lord my protector Make them bow to my will To the skies See Carolus rise Proved in battle Led my men to victory No man alive or dead commands me I answer to the Lord Hear my orders Question me and die! What I say was said in heaven And so it shall be done I know I was destined to rule alone All for myself I have claimed the throne Born to rule My time is now (...) All that's thine, shall be mine, there's no stopping me All over Europe my rule shall be questioned by none All I see, give to me, that is my decree My will be done (...)
Comments:
This song describes the crowning of the Swedish king Karl XII in the year of 1697. He believed God chose him to rule, and so you cannot question him.

Manowar's, "Kings of Metal"
The Boasting Lyrics:
Manowar Manowar living on the road When we're in town speakers explode We don't attract wimps 'cause we're too loud Just true metal people that's Manowar's crowd They want to keep us down But they can't last When we get up we're gonna kick your ass Gonna keep on burnin' We always will Other bands play Manowar kill Other bands play Manowar kill We like it hard, we like it fast We got the biggest amps, man they blast True metal people want to rock not pose Wearin' jeans and leather, not cracker jack clothes They want to keep us down But they can't last When we get up we're gonna kick your ass (...) We're the kings of metal comin' to town When we light up, have the roof nailed down Don't try to tell us that we're too loud 'Cause there ain't no way that we'll ever turn down
Comments:
About how they play louder and better than other bands.

Herbie Kay & His Orchestra's, "Rhythm Steps"
The Boasting Lyrics:
If you’re not a dunce,
You’ll catch on at once,
Simple as ABC,
It’s the Rhythm Steps, whoa!
Simple as the day is long!
Comments:
Yes, the original song is really THAT boastful. First of all, it insults the people who refuse to “dance the Rhythm Steps” by calling them dunces. Second, it calls the dance “simple as ABC”, and uses the exclamation “whoa!” in describing it. And to top it all off the singers exclaim “Simple as the day is long!!” as the very last lyrics that are sung, right before the end, which is completely irrelevant to the topic at hand. A comparison between the length of the day and this obscure dance (two steps forward, one step back) does not tell the 21st-century listener ANYTHING useful about how to actually dance to it. Maybe at the time it was exciting. Nowadays this song is just perfect fodder for AmIRight.

AJR's, "I'm Not Famous"
The Boasting Lyrics:
You've never heard of me
Or the weird shit I do and say
That's my favorite thing
That I'm not famous, no
And I'm never on TV
Throwing up on an LA street
Nobody judges me
Cause I'm not famous, no
Comments:
While AJR might have not been famous when they wrote this song, they're boasting about the fact they're not famous

Tone Loc's, "Funky Cold Medina"
The Boasting Lyrics:
Having some drinks with some no-name chump when they know that i'm the star!
Comments:
What do you have that the "chump" doesn't have that makes you more desirable to women?

New Radicals', "You Get What You Give"
The Boasting Lyrics:
Fashion shoots with Beck and Hanson,
Courtney Love and Marilyn Manson
You're all fakes, run to your mansions
Come around, we'll kick your ass in
Comments:
Gregg Alexander is boasting here about he thinks he can beat Beck, Hanson, Courtney Love and Marilyn Manson to the top. And then the New Radicals broke up and never released any more material, while the four mentioned continued with success. Swing and a miss!

Bon Jovi's, "Lay Your Hands On Me"
The Boasting Lyrics:
I'm a fighter, I'm a poet, I'm a preacher
I've been to school, oh baby, I've been the teacher
Comments:
Jon Bon Jovi was 25 when this song came out so has he really been all those things?
